We're recommended in a book called "Northwest Best Places." Here's what they said about us:

When Terry Giddens arrived at Bamfield a decade ago, he knew he had found his métier: building from driftwood and recycled timber salvaged from decaying Bamfield buildings. The result is Wood"s End Landing in West Bamfield overlooking Bamfield Inlet, with four cottages and two suites set in 2 acres of 50-year-old gardens where climbing roses twine through the salal.
Each cabin has a spacious living/dining/cooking area on the ground floor and two loft-style bedrooms above. Silvery driftwood forms the stair banister, the balcony rails, and the bed frames in the Beachcomber Cottage; the sturdy table made from boards salvaged from a tumbledown house. The Woodsman, high on the hill, and the Angler, the front half of the old house on the property, have the best views.........

...and we didn't even have to bribe them, or anything...
