Our cottages...Woods End Landing is a waterfront property in the village of Bamfield, BC. We have 4 large two-bedroom cottages for tourist accommodations. Terry (see A Little About Us) built them all himself. He's a very gifted fellow, when it comes to using wood so each cottage is unique and has lots of character and interesting log details. The cottages are called The Mariner, The Woodsman, The Beachcomber, and The Homesteader. We named each cottage in honor of the first settlers of the area. We also have 2 adjoining duplex suites. There was an existing house on this Bamfield property, which Terry renovated. He used his talents on them also, and brought out their charm. These two suites are called The Angler and The Berry. Do you like to cook? So do we. This means that all the kitchens are fully equipped. Every cottage has its own gas barbecue. If a guest finds that we're missing a kitchen tool or gadget, they let us know and we make sure to get it. Many of our guests who own boats have been pleased by the fact that we have a private dock with 200 ft. of available moorage space. Do you like gardens? If the answer is yes, then you're in luck. Woods End Landing's gardens are 2 acres in size and more than 50 years old. Both the previous two owners of the property loved gardening and we do too. There are over 20 different types of ground covers, 6 types of heather, 12 types of rhododendrons, as well as berry patches, vegetable gardens and flower gardens. Our Bamfield accommodation rates are affordable. We've put in a lot of work to make sure the cottages are comfortable and the surrounding gardens pleasing to the eye, but we don't do all this purely for profit. This is a labor of love and a lifestyle we've chosen, therefore we've kept our rates within reach. Check out our current rates.
